Payment and Fees
At Red Maple Wellness, I believe in making healing accessible while ensuring you receive the highest level of personalized care and therapeutic support throughout your Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) journey. Below are details about session fees, insurance reimbursement options, and available payment solutions.
Fees
For new patients, the initial medical consultation with Journey Clinical is $300, with medication costing $88 for two sessions. Ongoing treatment requires quarterly follow-ups at $150, and medication costs $148 for up to six sessions. This is billed separately and handled exclusively through Journey Clinical. THESE RATES ARE SET BY JOURNEY CLINICAL AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
An initial standard KAP round with Red Maple Wellness includes a 50-minute intake, two 2 or 3-hour dosing sessions, and two 50-minute integration sessions. The total cost for the initial round of KAP is approximately $1475. Clients who prepay receive a 5% discount.
A complete treatment course of KAP is typically 3 to 4 rounds (6 to 8 doses total). Follow-up KAP rounds range in price based on your needs and frequency of sessions. The duration of dosing, preparation, and integration sessions is tailored to your needs, which may impact the total cost. Options will be discussed when scheduling.
Insurance & Out-of-Network Reimbursement
I am not in-network with any insurance providers. However, certain aspects of your treatment, such as the initial intake assessment and integration therapy sessions, may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance provider as out-of-network mental health services. Many insurance plans consider these sessions reimbursable under psychotherapy benefits, but coverage varies.
If you would like to explore this option, I can help you verify coverage by providing a superbill, which is an itemized invoice with the necessary details for submission to your insurance company. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider about out-of-network mental health coverage and any specific requirements they may have for reimbursement.
Payment Methods Accepted
To make payment more accessible, I accept credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) may also be used, though it is important to confirm eligibility with your provider. Additionally, I offer financing options through CareCredit, which allows for healthcare-related payment plans, Affirm, and other pay-over-time options for those who qualify.
